“ My first time here. Extremely friendly staff, super fast service. I felt right at home. Daily specials and a great menu. Turkey baked fresh and dressing couldnt have been better! Prices very reasonable. Ill definitely be back, cant wait to try breakfast! ”
“ Great little place to stop and grab a bite to eat. Super friendly staff, awesome food. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely come back. ”
“ On our journey back to New England, we stumbled upon this diner that turned out to be the hidden gem of our trip. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by a team of staff who treated us like longlost friends rather than just passing travelers. The warmth and friendliness of everyone we encountered made all the difference, transforming our quick stop into an experience well cherish. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we felt completely at ease, as if we were regulars. They took the time to chat with us, share stories, and make sure we had everything we needed. Their genuine care and attention to detail were evident in every interactionwhether it was a quick refill of our sweet tea, a recommendation from the menu, or just checking in to make sure we were enjoying our meal. They truly made us feel like we were right at home, not strangers at all. Speaking of the meal, it was absolutely fantastic! The baby back ribs were cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, and the collard greens were seasoned just right, a true Southern classic. We also indulged in the mac and cheese bites, which were a crispy, cheesy delight, and the hush puppies were a revelationgolden and delicious with the perfect crunch. The rolls were warm, soft, and buttery, and the sweet tea was the best weve ever had, perfectly refreshing and just the right sweetness. But as good as the food was, it was the incredible staff that made our visit truly special. They infused the place with a sense of warmth and community that you just dont find everywhere. It was clear they took pride in what they do, and that pride shone through in every aspect of our experience. This diner offers more than just a mealit offers a slice of Southern hospitality that stays with you long after youve left. If youre ever passing through, make sure to stop by. The food will satisfy your hunger, but its the wonderful people working there who will leave your heart full. ”
“ One of the best places Ive ever eaten! The Sunday turkey was just like Thanksgiving. Kathy was the best waitress Ive had in years ”
“ I had to ding the service, but our waitress did fall in the kitchen and break her arm, or dislocate her shoulder, so not her fault. The commotion over the event delayed our meal, another waitress said shed take over and refill our coffee and sweet tea, but no, it was 20 minutes before we got that. Still, the home cooked meals were great! I had chicken salad, rutabagas, and my husbands hamburger gravy was equally yummy! We will dine here again and you should too. ”
“ Food and customer were awesome and prices cant be beat! Our server Kathy was awesome!! We loved her!! She was on the ball and so friendly. We came to visit family from Texas and would definitely recommend this place. Thanks Kathy! Go Cowboys!! ”
“ Me husband and I love Dees. We enjoy going there early on Sundays. I dont think Ive had anything i didnt like, and they even made red eye gravy for my FIL one time when he asked them if they had it. I think the omelets are my favorite. Diners like this are the best! Real people and real food. ”
“ First time in, but will definitely not be my last. Ever go somewhere and just feel at home, well THIS place gave me that feeling. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our waitress checked in on us often, even though we were sitting outside and she was working tables inside and out. Even the other customers coming in and out were friendly and striked up some conversations with us. We had the shrimp basket with must try onion rings. Add the fried pickles to the must try list as well! Everything was amazing double bacon cheeseburger, okra, the chili fries. Just try it all, you wont be sorry! ”
